Twenty years after his death, the Atelier Spyros
Vassiliou is remembering the reputed Greek painter with an exhibition focusing
on the human form; a subject to which he remained faithful throughout his life.
On this occasion, the Atelier is hosting works by the Rector of the Athens
School of Fine Arts, Chronis Botsoglou, and twelve of his students.
Lina Athanassiadou, Dimitris Anastassiou, Dimitra Diamandi, Corina Knithaki,
Kiriaki Kirmou, Olymbia Polymeni, Vasso Pouridou, Giorgos Prassas, Nikos Sideris,
Stelios Stilianou, Apostolos Hantzaras and Christina Hadjineofitou, senior
students in Botsoglou’s Studio, are going to present their work, having as
reference point their teacher’s watercolour, Mother, 73x56.
